Germany coach Joachim Löw is planning to call up Jamal Musiala for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Iceland, Romania and North Macedonia in March, according to various reports.

Musiala is an England under-21 international, but is eligible to play for Germany as well, and Löw is now hoping to convince him to switch his allegiance to 'Die Mannschaft'.

According to Sport1, Löw and Germany general manager Oliver Bierhoff want to talk to Musiala in February with the hope of winning him over.

England coach Gareth Southgate, of course, wants to prevent this and has already sought talks with Musiala on several occasions, as per the report.

The 17-year-old attacking midfielder has emerged as a regular part of Bayern' squad, having made 21 appearances with three goals to his name so far.
