Flick reveals Javi Martinez and Leon Goretzka have tested positive for coronavirus

Javi Martinez and Leon Goretzka will miss Bayern München's clash with Hoffenheim after testing positive for COVID-19.
Bayern München will have to manage without Javi Martinez and Leon Goretzka for their Bundesliga encounter with Hoffenheim on Saturday.

The two midfielders have tested positive for coronavirus, FC Bayern coach Hansi Flick revealed at the pre-match press conference.

"Javi Martinez and Leon Goretzka have tested positive for coronavirus. It's a shame that they have both been infected," Flick told reporters.

Flick also confirmed that Alex Nübel will be out for around two to four weeks after picking up an ankle injury.

Meanwhile, the Hoffenheim game comes too soon for Corentin Tolisso and Tanguy Nianzou. With Goretzka, Martinez and Tolisso all out, Marc Roca or Jamal Musiala could come into the starting eleven on Saturday.
