Official: Arsenal wonderkid joins Hoffenheim

Hoffenheim have confirmed the signing of Arsenal starlet Reiss Nelson on loan.
Highly rated Arsenal youngster Reiss Nelson has joined Hoffenheim on a season-long loan deal, the club have announced.

Hoffenheim boss Alexander Rosen says the 18-year-old will provide valuable depth to the squad as midfielders Nadiem Amiri, Kerim Demirbay, Lukas Rupp and Dennis Geiger are all currently sidelined with long-term injuries.

"I'm delighted that we have succeeded in winning over a young player with such extraordinary skills," Hoffenheim boss Alexander Rosen told achtzehn99.de and added:

"Reiss Nelson will give us a lot of options with his capability of playing as a number eight, as a winger or up top."

Nelson has made 16 first-team appearances for Arsenal.
