Bayern München defender Jerome Boateng reveals he held talks with Paris Saint-Germain coach Thomas Tuchel about a move to the French capital.
Boateng says the talks were interesting and productive, but ultimately, the move didn't materialise.
"There were talks with Paris, that's no secret. The task there was interesting, and the talks with Thomas Tuchel were good," Boateng told Die Welt and went on:
"But that doesn't mean I'm not enthusiastic about Bayern anymore. I have big goals and will continue to do everything for the club - as I've always done."
According to various German media outlets, Bayern turned down a €40 million offer from Paris Saint-Germain for Boateng yesterday, ensuring that the centre-back would stay at the Allianz Arena.
