Christian Streich signs new Freiburg deal
Christian Streich, the longest-serving current Bundesliga coach, has extended his contract with Freiburg.
SC Freiburg have announced that head coach Christian Streich has extended his contract for the 2021/22 season.
"We are very pleased to continue the cooperation with Christian beyond the current season," said Freiburg board member Jochen Saier.
"It is immensely valuable to consciously and repeatedly decide in favor of the joint project - because it is totally intense and challenging. We continue to feel a great desire for the joint path. The togetherness is simply constructive."
The longest-serving current Bundesliga coach, Christian Streich took over as Freiburg coach in December 2011 – and he is looking forward to continuing his work.
"I am pleased about the recognition and trust that is placed in our work. The cooperation contains all the prerequisites that are important to continue on the path we have chosen," said Streich.
