David Alaba will reportedly confirm his departure from Bayern München at a press conference today.
After months of speculation about his future, David Alaba is set to announce his departure from Bayern München today, Tuesday, according to a report from Bild, who claims a press conference is scheduled for 14:00 CET.
The Austrian international has decided to leave the German champions at the end of the season, at which point he is out of contract, after the parties failed to agree on a new deal.
Real Madrid have been touted as favorites to sign Alaba, who is also being linked with Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea and Liverpool.
Bayern recently confirmed the signing of Alaba's replacement, Dayot Upamecano, who will make the switch to Allianz Arena from RB Leipzig in the summer.
Alaba featured for 90 minutes in Bayern's 3-3 draw with Arminia Bielefeld in the Bundesliga on Monday.
