SportBild: Tolisso most likely out for the rest of the year

Reporters at Germany's SportBild cite internal sources on the Bayern medical team to report that Corentin Tolisso has been lost for the season.
The severity of Corentin Tolisso's injury had already been apparent since this morning. Reporters at one of Germany's preeminent sporting publications claim to have spoken to physios on the Bayern medical staff. The internal expectation, according to newspaper SportBild, is that the French midfielder will be out for up to six months.

Trainer Hansi Flick floated a potential timetable of three months when commenting on the matter earlier today.

"We expect at least three months," Flick told reporters in his afternoon comments, "I hope that the muscle regenerates, but it's a place that's not so simple."

SportBild notes that the nature of the torn tendon leads the FCB experts to write off the 26-year-old for the duration of the season. A return within three months is said to be extremely unlikely.
