Werder Bremen sporting director Frank Baumann has slammed his team's performance in their 4-0 defeat to Hoffenheim.
Frank Baumann has blasted Werder Bremen's display in Sunday's 4-0 loss to Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga on Sunday.
Speaking to reporters on Monday, the Werder sporting director urged the team to show a different face in their next game against Eintracht Frankfurt this Friday.
"I'm definitely disappointed and also a little frustrated, because our performance was not good enough for the Bundesliga. We've been able to bounce back from setbacks like this before. We need to stop making mistakes," Baumann said and added:
"Every player needs to take responsibility. No one played to their full potential yesterday, and they are now all responsible for making sure that they bring a better performance to the pitch on Friday.
"We said at the start of the season that we want to stay up. We still have a bit of a cushion between us and the bottom, but we need to maintain this gap, or even grow it. We have some decisive weeks coming up."
