Hoffenheim coach Sebastian Hoeness has lavished praise on Ihlas Bebou in the wake of Sunday's 4-0 victory over Werder Bremen, which saw the 26-year-old score and set up a goal.
"He's a player who can really take the spotlight," Hoeness told reporters and went on to refer to the previous games against Dortmund (2-2) and Molde (3-3), "in which [Bebou] also played very well, but didn't show the efficiency needed."
"He's creating chances, and that's good for a start. But I thought it was amazing how cool he stayed in front of goal against Werder.
"He's a super character, who will continue to work and be enormously important for us as a team."
The 26-year-old has made 27 appearances for Hoffenheim this season with six goals and nine assists to his name.
