André Silva on reported interest: 'It's a sign that things are going well'

Eintracht Frankfurt star André Silva insists he remains 'down to earth' amid reported interest from Bayern München among others.
André Silva is understood to have attracted attention from numerous top clubs, including Bayern München, with his performances for Eintracht Frankfurt this season.

When asked about the reported interest in him, Silva told Bild:

"It's a sign that things are going well. But I'm down to earth and know the business. I have to work and continue to prove my ruthlessness in front of goal."

Frankfurt sporting director Bruno Hübner recently admitted that qualifying for the Champions League would increase Frankfurt's hopes of holding on to the sought-after striker.

"Maybe he'll say: 'Okay, I'll prove that I can have another good season here and play with Eintracht in the Champions League," Hübner said to Bild.

Silva has found the net 19 times in 22 games this season. His contract with Frankfurt expires in 2023.
