Thomas Müller back in Bayern's squad
Bayern München coach Hansi Flick has confirmed that Thomas Müller will be part of his squad to face FC Köln.
Thomas Müller will make a quick return to the Bayern München squad after resuming training yesterday.
At a press conference on Friday, FC Bayern coach Hansi Flick confirmed that Müller will be part of his team to take on FC Köln in the Bundesliga on Saturday.
"Thomas Müller is back in the squad. He trained individually yesterday and had been training at home before that. Thomas has a good base fitness, that goes in his favor. We haven't yet decided how we will use him," said Flick.
Before making his return to training, the 31-year-old had been self-isolating for a few weeks after testing positive for coronavirus.
Meanwhile, Bayern have also been boosted by the return of Serge Gnabry, who was back in full training on Thursday following an injury layoff.
