Adi Hütter: 'We let the game slip out of our hands'

Eintracht Frankfurt coach Adi Hütter has described Friday's 2-1 defeat to Werder Bremen as 'annoying' and 'bitter'.
Eintracht Frankfurt's streak of 11 Bundesliga games without a loss came to an end on Friday as they suffered a 2-1 defeat at hands of Werder Bremen.

In a post-match interview, Frankfurt coach Adi Hütter expressed frustration at his team's inability to build on their early opener.

"It was a very annoying, bitter defeat. We let the game slip out of our hands," said Hütter.

"We didn't reach the level of the last few weeks. They were nasty and unpleasant, and we fell into the trap. This is a setback, for sure. The fact that we ended up losing here hurts me especially."
