Official: Uwe Neuhaus sacked as Bielefeld coach
Uwe Neuhaus is no longer the head coach of Arminia Bielefeld.
Arminia Bielefeld have officially parted ways with head coach Uwe Neuhaus and his assistant coach Peter Nemeth following Saturday's 3-0 loss to Borussia Dortmund.
"We are very grateful to Uwe Neuhaus and Peter Nemeth for their dedicated work since they took up their posts in December 2018," reads a statement from the club.
"As head coach, Uwe Neuhaus took over the team in a very difficult situation at the bottom of the table and, within a year and a half, took it out of relegation danger to become the 2020 second-division champion and win promotion to the Bundesliga."
Bielefeld have managed to take just one point from their last five Bundesliga games. They sit 16th in the Bundesliga table with a game in hand.
Former RB Salzburg academy boss Frank Kramer has reportedly been lined up to replace Neuhaus.
