Reading's Omar Richards passes Bayern medical

The 23-year-old is one of England's hottest prospects, now sealing a move the Bundesliga.
Reading left-back Omar Richards will move to the Allianz Arena after seeing his development rocket at Madesjki Stadium, as reported earlier last month by Bulinews.com. The 23-year-old’s contract with the Championship side expires at the end of the current season in June, making him a free agent, with Reading having failed to come to terms with a renewal.

Bayern München have pounced upon the opportunity to grab him up in the full-back position, which will see stern competition against the likes of Alphonso Davies and Lucas Hernandez.

Sky Sports have now confirmed that Richards has passed his medical with the German giants. According to the news outlet, he has had to go through the procedure back in England and not Germany due to coronavirus travel restrictions.

He will remain in Munich until 2024 after signing a four-year deal – details of which are yet to be disclosed by both the clubs.

Richards has appeared 30 times for Reading this season, registering more than 2,300 minutes all season. (transfermarkt)
