"I'm worth €105 million," jokes Andre Silva in an exclusive with O Jogo

He has emerged as one of Germany’s top scorers, having scored 19 goals so far in Bundesliga, two ahead of Erling Haaland and only behind top placed Polish hitman Robert Lewandowski.
Since moving to West Germany, Portuguese striker Andre Silva has taken huge strides in establishing himself as one of Bundesliga deadliest strikers.

The former Rossoneri never saw his career reach heights at San Siro as it has at the Commerzbank Arena.

Andre Silva has scored an astonishing 20 goals in 23 appearances for Eintracht Frankfurt and assisted 5 times during his stay. His form of late has attracted attention from all around Europe. Manchester United have emerged as a likely destination.

Speaking to Portuguese daily sport newspaper O Jogo, Andre Silva shrugged off any ‘rumours’ linking him to Old Trafford.

“I have heard rumors, but that is it. Rumors are rumors. At the end of this season, it is something that gives me more motivation to work, it is a sign that what I have accomplished has borne fruit and the path has been good,” he said.

When asked when what he would be worth in the current transfer market, Silva joked: “Around €105 million? I’m kidding. I think I heard €30m (£26m/$36m) and something somewhere. When we sell our merchandise, we always increase the value a little bit. Things are as they are and, whatever happens around us, the most important thing is to look at me and what I can do.”

It remains to be seen where Silva might end up. Nonetheless, Frankfurt are lucky to have snapped up the marksman from AC Milan in a bargain transfer worth €9 million.
