In an interview with Sky, Reus says he's ambivalent about his current situation. On the one hand, the 31-year-old is delighted that he has managed to stay injury-free for the whole season, but on the other hand, he knows that he can perform better.
Having scored just four goals in 35 games this season, Reus above all wants to be an "even bigger goal threat".
"We're probably not seeing the best Marco Reus right now," remarked Reus self-critically.
"Of course, I imagined a different goal-scoring ratio myself as well."
Reus also accepts the fact that he has been substituted remarkably often during the course of the season.
"If the coach is not satisfied, of course he has to make changes," said the BVB captain.
