Marco Rose: 'We just can't get a positive result at the moment'

"We're in a real tough phase right now," Gladbach coach Marco Rose admitted after Friday's 3-1 defeat to Augsburg.
Borussia Mönchengladbach's struggles continued as they fell to a 3-1 defeat to Augsburg in the Bundesliga on Friday.

Speaking after the defeat - Gladbach's sixth in a row in all competitions - head coach Marco Rose shared his thoughts on the game and the difficult situation 'Die Fohlen' are in at the moment.

"We just can’t get a positive result at the moment. The lads are working incredibly hard and they showed a lot of energy here in Augsburg today too. Ultimately though, we didn’t score the goals and they did, and that leads to us being on this current winless run," said Rose.

"Augsburg had maybe one chance in the first half, then we went behind from a set piece, but that still didn’t faze us. We got the equaliser and pushed for a second, and then we were hit with another setback. The lads looked solid in general though and played some nice football for long periods. We’re in a really tough phase right now."
