Joachim Löw to return to Fenerbahce?

Germany coach Joachim Löw is being linked with Fenerbahce, who he coached in the past.
Fenerbahce are showing concrete interest in appointing Germany coach Joachim Löw, according to Bild.

Löw spent the 1998/99 season coaching Fenerbahce, leading them to a third-place finish in the Super Lig.

Per the report, the Turkish side are now keen on bringing back Löw, who will step back from his position as Germany coach after this summer's European Championship.

The 61-year-old has underlined that he has no plans of ending his coaching career just yet.

"I'm totally motivated and looking forward to the upcoming games in March and to the European Championship. But my coaching career won't be over after that because I love the daily work with the players and the individual training with the players," said Löw earlier this month, according to Sport1.

Fenerbahce sit third in the Super Lig under current head coach Erol Bulut, whose contract expires in 2022.
