Jamal Musiala on making his Germany debut: 'It's something I dreamt of as a child'
Jamal Musiala was thrilled to make his first appearance for Germany's senior team in Thursday's 3-0 win over Iceland.
Bayern München youngster Jamal Musiala came on from the bench in the 78th minute to make his senior international debut for Germany in Thursday's 3-0 victory over Iceland.
Speaking at a press conference after the game, the 18-year-old explained just how much making his first appearance for 'Die Mannschaft' meant to him.
"It's a huge moment for me and also my family. It's something I dreamt of as a child. I was just looking forward to playing, and I had a lot of fun," Musiala told reporters.
"There's a lot to come, but I'm very proud, and my family, too. I'm just happy to be here. It's great, I feel very proud to be here with this great team. There are a lot of players that I already followed when I was younger."
At club level, Musiala has made 30 appearances for Bayern's senior side, scoring four times.
