Florian Kohfeldt: Josh Sargent could become one of the Bundesliga's best strikers

Werder Bremen coach Florian Kohfeldt has waxed lyrical about U.S. international striker Josh Sargent.
Werder Bremen's Josh Sargent could go on to become one of the best strikers in the Bundesliga in the future, according to his coach, Florian Kohfeldt.

"In Josh Sargent, in my view, we have a striker who is going to be one of the best in the league," Kohfeldt told Bundesliga.com.

"He's so young, but he brings everything to the table up top, absolutely everything," added the Werder coach.

The 21-year-old U.S. international has played for Werder since 2018, having scored 13 goals and made nine assists in 72 appearances in total.

This season alone, Sargent has played 28 games with seven goals and three assists to his name.

He is suspended for Werder's Bundesliga clash with VfB Stuttgart on Sunday after being handed his fifth yellow card.
