Bayern handed huge boost as PSG ace sits out of Champions League clash
The first leg is scheduled to take place on 7th April at the Allianz Arena, with the 2nd leg coming six days later in Paris at the Parc des Princes.
Bayern Munich have been handed a huge boost ahead of their decisive clash against Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals.
PSG midfield ace Marco Verratti will be missing the first leg of the tie due to being tested positive for the coronavirus.
Verratti has tested positive for a remarkable second time this season after having missed two games already due to the virus at the end of January and beginning of February.
He will now miss the significant 1st leg tie at Allianz Arena and will not travel with the team.
Suite au dernier test PCR Sars-Cov2, Marco Verratti est confirmé positif. Il va donc respecter l’isolement et est soumis au protocole sanitaire approprié.

The official statement by the French champions read: “Following the last Sars-Cov2 PCR test, Marco Verratti is confirmed positive. He will therefore respect isolation and is subject to the appropriate health protocol."
He could return for team selection for the 2nd leg at Parc des Princes on 13th April if he recovers smoothly.
