How FC Bayern could line up against Paris Saint-Germain

We take a look at the team FC Bayern coach Hansi Flick could field for Wednesday's Champions League clash with Paris Saint-Germain.
In a rematch of last year's Champions League final, reigning champions FC Bayern München lock horns with Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday in the first Champions League quarter-final tie between the two sides.

Bayern will be without prolific top scorer Robert Lewandowski, who is sidelined with a knee injury, but should otherwise be able to name their strongest starting eleven against a PSG side that will be without the likes of Marco Verratti, Alessandro Florenzi and Mauro Icardi.

Bayern coach Hansi Flick opted to let Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting fill in for Lewandowski in Saturday's 1-0 win over RB Leipzig, but Bild reported on Monday that Serge Gnabry was in line to start up front at the expense of the 32-year-old Camerounese forward this time around.

However, Gnabry didn't take part in Bayern's final training session today and is set to miss the game.

In their report on Monday, Bild further claimed that Lucas Hernandez and Niklas Süle are likely to retain their places ahead of Alphonso Davies and Jerome Boateng, who missed the Leipzig game due to suspension.

Here's Bayern probable starting eleven:

Manuel Neuer

Benjamin Pavard
Niklas Süle
David Alaba
Lucas Hernandez

Leon Goretzka
Joshua Kimmich

Leroy Sané
Thomas Müller
Kingsley Coman

Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting

PSG's probable line-up: Navas - Kehrer, Marquinhos, Kimpembe, Diallo - Gueye, Danilo - di Maria, Neymar, Mbappé - Kean.
