Jesse Marsch and Niko Kovac among the reported candidates for Leverkusen job

In addition to Hannes Wolf, RB Salzburg's Jesse Marsch, Young Boys' Gerardo Seoane and AS Monaco's Niko Kovac are being touted as candidates to take over as Bayer Leverkusen coach this summer.
Last month, Bayer Leverkusen sacked Peter Bosz and replaced him with Hannes Wolf, who is supposed to return to his job as Germany U18 coach at the end of the season.

However, after Wolf got off to a winning start with a 2-1 victory over Schalke 04, Leverkusen sporting managing director Rudi Völler said the 39-year-old "definitely has the chance" to stay on as coach beyond the summer.

Should Leverkusen opt for a different solution, they could appoint either RB Salzburg's Jesse Marsch, Young Boys' Gerardo Seaone or AS Monaco's Niko Kovac, who used to play for the club.

Marsch's deal runs until 2022 while Seaone and Kovac are both under contract until 2023.
