Mbappe reveals Mauricio Pochettino's tactical advice on Kimmich

Paris Saint-Germain ran away 3-2 winners at the Allianz Arena in the 1st leg as French wonderkid Kylian Mbappe scored a brace to put the Parisians in pole position to qualify for the semi-finals.
Mbappe put in another wonderful performance to give Paris Saint-Germain a fantastic three-away goal lead going into the second leg at Parc des Princes next week.

PSG effectively shut out any attacking threat by Bayern who already had Lewandowski sitting out due to injury. The Polish striker’s presence was missed in the center-forward position.

However, brace scorer Mbappe revealed what made the difference for him and essentially the Parisians’ midfield that outplayed Joshua Kimmich and Leon Goretzka in the center half of the pitch.

He praised Mauricio Pochettino’s advise as instrumental in helping the team win.

In quotes picked up by The Sun, Mbappe said: "The coach wanted me to close the passing lines on Kimmich with Neymar and that I run deep to overcome the Bayern block and make them run because they don’t like that. It worked well today," he said.

Adding further, he said: "We were solid, and we knew how to inflict damage in our strong moments. We will attack the second leg with the same determination."

Bayern visit Paris next week with Lewandowski sitting out, once again. Sule and Goretzka also reportedly picked up knocks in the 3-2 loss at Allianz Arena.
