Wout Weghorst brushes off talk about Wolfsburg future

VfL Wolfsburg striker Wout Weghorst offered a tight-lipped response when asked about his future following his side's 4-3 loss to Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga on Saturday.
Wout Weghorst has refused to guarantee that he will stay at Wolfsburg beyond the summer amid speculation linking him with Tottenham among others.

When asked about his Wolfsburg future following Saturday's 4-3 loss to Eintracht Frankfurt, the striker told ZDF:

"Of course I can't promise anything, you know how football is."

"I feel very much at home in Wolfsburg," added Weghorst, who is under contract until 2023.

"If all parties feel like continuing together, then it will go on like this."

Weghorst, 28, has scored 23 goals and made eight assists in 35 games this season.
