Frankfurt & Lazio lining up summer move for Stuttgart defender

Stuttgart's Kempf is now the transfer talk of two clubs - one from Germany and the other from Italy.
VfB Stuttgart’s Marc-Oliver Kempf has been one of the club’s regular faces in the back-four, helping Stuttgart gain promotion last season from 2. Bundesliga – appearing 24 times in a season won by Arminia Bielefeld.

According to transfermarkt.de, the 26-year-old Hesse native is now being targeted by his boyhood club Eintracht Frankfurt, where he spent his youth career from 2007 to 2014. The center-back is also being scouted for a move to Italy’s capital, with Lazio also keeping close tabs on his development.

The left-footed centre-back is versatile, capable of functioning as a full back when required.

He is worth around €6m according to transfermarkt and his contract at the Mercedes-Benz Arena expires on June 30, 2022.

He has appeared 30 times so far for Stuttgart across all competitions this season, registering more than 2,500 minutes in total.
