Freiburg thrash Schalke

In a one-sided game that most people predicted, Freiburg won 4-0 against Schalke which saw some players score some of their season highs in fantasy. Christian Gunter, DEF (12.3M, 28) scored a season high 28 points while Rolland Sallai, MID (9.3M, 22) also did well. One thing to note is that these two players will not be playing this upcoming matchday against Hertha Berlin due to Hertha’s COVID situation, hence they will be receiving their average points of 7 point, which isn’t too bad considering they are one of the later fixtures.

Leipzig rotation possible

Against Hoffenheim, Alexander Sørloth, FOR (15M, 4) did not start and was replaced by Emil Forsberg in the starting lineup, but Leipzig coach Nagelsmann has hinted that Sørloth will be starting the midweek game against Köln, and could be a sneaky pick for an early game striker. Leipzig’s lineup is also revealed before the transfer market shuts, so ownership of other players can be decided after that. Marcel Sabitzer, MID (16.8M, 9) has muscle cramps and may be out for the game.

Gladbach back to form

Gladbach won 4-0 at home against Frankfurt in a game which no one really foresaw, but could be an indication of further good performances coming from the side. Jonas Hofmann, MID (14.1M, 20) had an especially good game, while Rami Bensebaini, DEF (12.6M, 21) also scored and had good returns. Both players are possible picks for the upcoming games at Hoffenheim (A) and Bielefeld (H).

Shocks of the matchday:

Jamal Musiala, MID (2.3M, 21) scored a brace, looks set to continue starting for Bayern and could be a good budget pick.

Andre Silva, FOR (20.9M, 1) had a poor game and could be looking to bounce back against Augsburg (H) next.
