Everton interested in SC Freiburg defender

Carlo Ancelotti's Everton are reportedly interested in reinforcing their defensive line.
Reports from German outlet Sport BILD via transfermarketweb have emerged on Everton being interested in SC Freiburg defender Keven Schlotterbeck.

The up-and-coming German centre-back is being targeted for a move to Merseyside with Everton keen on his services. The 23-year-old is highly sought after for his commanding presence in the back as he stands strong at 6”2’.

According to transfermarkt, Schlotterbeck is worth an estimated value of €7.5m.

His contract with Freiburg ends on 30 June, 2022, before which the German club will be keen on cashing in.

So far this season, he has made 24 appearances and registered 1,800 minutes in total.
