Schalke newcomer Omar Mascarell ready to make his debut
Schalke 04's Omar Mascarell says he's ready to make his debut for his new club after returning from injury.
After spending about five weeks on the sidelines due to a hamstring injury, new Schalke 04 signing Omar Mascarell is finally back and ready for action.
"I'm feeling perfect now. My training was a little reduced last week, but now I can finally train fully again. I'm happy," the defensive midfielder told Sky.
If Mascarell will already play a role in the match against Borussia Mönchengladbach on Saturday will be up to Schalke coach Domenico Tedesco.
"I can't decide that. The coach must do that. But I'm ready and have no more pain," Mascarell said.
Mascarell, 25, made 12 appearances for Eintracht Frankfurt last season, scoring two goals.
