Freiburg confirm new deal for Philipp Lienhart
Philipp Lienhart has inked a new contract with SC Freiburg.
SC Freiburg have announced that Philipp Lienhart has put pen to paper on a contract extension.
As customary for Freiburg, the club haven't released any details about the length of the new deal.
"If you are convinced of each other in sporting and human terms, you should keep working together, so that's what we'll do," said Freiburg sporting director Klemens Hartenbach.
"Philipp has steadily developed both defensively and offensively during his time with us and is a regular part of our team. We are therefore very pleased that we are continuing on this path together."
The 24-year-old centre-back joined Freiburg form Real Madrid in 2017.
