Dortmund identify Lille talent as possible replacement for Sancho
Lille have experienced a surge in fortunes with their remarkable performances - on their way to Ligue 1’s pedestal.
French U21 international Jonathan Ikoné has appeared as a possible target for Borussia Dortmund - according to France Football.
The attacking midfielder has undertaken his most productive season for Lille or so far, having moved from Montpellier in 2018.
He has scored 7 goals and made 7 assists in 47 appearances so far for Les Dogues.
The Paris Saint-Germain youth product is worth around €30m, with his contact in northern France expiring in June 2023.
Dortmund are willing to get in line for Ikoné if Jadon Sancho finds his way out of Signal Iduna Park.
Ikoné hasn’t been prolific in his exploits, scoring just 14 times in over 120 appearances for Lille.
He has been scouted by AC Milan before, but the Rossoneri didn’t materialize a move for him.
