Report: Dortmund scout Sporting Lisbon playmaker amid Sancho transfer links

Sporting Lisbon's Pedro Gonçalves has been a revelation this season.
Attacking midfielder Pedro Gonçalves, who turns 23 this year, is being actively scouted by Borussia Dortmund for a potential move from Portuguese champions Sporting Lisbon.

Reports from Portuguese outlet A Bola confirms this.

The Portuguese attacker has a market value of around €15m.

He has been likened to Manchester United ace Bruno Fernandes because of their similar playing style and position on the pitch, and also because he was the one to replace Fernandes’ position in the Sporting team after his high profile move to England.

The former Valencia and Wolverhampton playmaker is also being tracked by Liverpool and Manchester United.

Dortmund are said to actively looking for a replacement for outbound-Sancho, with Lille's Jonathan Ikone also being eyed.

Gonçalves has played a pivotal part in the league triumph for Sporting – scoring 23 goals and making 5 assists in 37 appearances across all competitions.
