Report: Wijnaldum set to snub Bayern for Barcelona
Georginio Wijnaldum has been touted for a move to Bayern München, but is apparently leaning towards a move to FC Barcelona.
FC Barcelona look set to beat Bayern München to the signing of Georginio Wijnaldum on a free transfer from Liverpool.
Bayern have been linked with a move for the 30-year-old free agent in recent weeks, but he is now close to joining Barcelona on a three-year deal, according to renowned football journalist Fabrizio Romano.
So far, the German champions have made one summer signing in the shape of 22-year-old centre-back Dayot Upamecano from RB Leipzig.
