According to Sport1, the two Bundesliga clubs are showing interest in acquiring the 24-year-old midfielder's services.
Serdar has just one year left on his Schalke deal, and the Gelsenkirchen club are likely to cash in on him following their relegation to the 2. Bundesliga.
