Report: Manchester United and Chelsea join Arsenal in race for Edmond Tapsoba

Manchester United and Chelsea are said to be ready to battle Arsenal for the signing of Bayer Leverkusen's Edmond Tapsoba.
Arsenal have been joined by Manchester United and Chelsea in the race for Edmond Tapsoba, according to Sport Bild.

Bayer Leverkusen sporting director Simon Rolfes recently made it clear that Tapsoba is not for sale.

However, Sport Bild speculates that an offer of around €50 million could tempt 'Die Werkself' into selling the highly-rated centre-back, whose contract runs until 2026.

The Bundesliga outfit have already said goodbye to three defenders this summer as Sven and Lars Bender have retired while Aleksandar Dragovic has left to join Red Star Belgrade.
