Hummels and Müller return as Germany draw with Denmark

Mats Hummels and Thomas Müller made their return for Germany as Joachim Löw's side shared the spoils with Denmark.
Germany drew 1-1 with Denmark in the first of two friendlies ahead of the upcoming European Championship.

Mats Hummels and Thomas Müller were both in the German line-up, representing their country for the first time since November 2018.

The latter missed a huge chance in the 15th minute as he headed the ball straight into Kasper Schmeichel's arms from around eight yards out.

Just before the break, Serge Gnabry was inches away from grabbing the opener as he cut inside and hit the woodwork.

Florian Neuhaus broke the deadlock from close range a few minutes into the second half after a bit of scramble in the box.

But his goal was cancelled out by Yussuf Poulsen, who found the equaliser in the 71st minute after he was played in behind the German defence by Christian Eriksen.

Germany are now set to face Latvia in a friendly on Monday before kicking off the Euros against France on 15 June.
