Injury forces Goretzka to stop training
Another injury shock for Bayern München: Leon Goretzka had to stop training today after hurting his foot.
After the long-term loss of Corentin Tolisso, who suffered an anterior cruciate ligament tear on Saturday, another Bayern München midfielder - Leon Goretzka - has reportedly picked up an injury.
According to Bild, the midfielder had to stop today's training session after colliding with youngster Maxime Awoudja.
Bayern physiotherapist Stephan Wickert then bandaged Goretzka's right foot on the training ground before the 23-year-old left the pitch in direction of the dressing room.
The injury leaves Goretzka doubtful for Bayern München's Champions League opener against Benfica in Portugal on Wednesday.
