FC Köln managing director Alexander Wehrle has confirmed that VfL Wolfsburg have made an offer for Sebastiaan Bornauw.
"We have received an initial written offer," Wehrle admitted to Bild.
According to Bild, Wolfsburg are offering less than €10 million for the centre-back, but negotiations are set to continue, with FC Köln holding out for a fee closer to €15 million.
The 22-year-old centre-back is under contract with FC Köln until 2024.
