Report: Marseille make Balerdi's loan from Dortmund permanent
Leonardo Balerdi will not be returning to Borussia Dortmund following his loan spell at Olympique Marseille.
Leonardo Balerdi's loan move from Borussia Dortmund to Olympique Marseille will be made permanent, according to Kicker.
Per the German football magazine, the two clubs have agreed on a transfer fee of €11 million for the 22-year-old central defender.
Balerdi spent the 2020/21 season on loan at Marseille, making 25 appearances with two goals to his name.
He made just eight appearances for Dortmund following his €15.5 million switch from Boca Juniors in January 2019.
