Martin Kind has played down suggestions that Hannover 96 are interested in signing out-of-favor Bayern München striker Jann-Fiete Arp.

"He's not on our list at all," underlined the Hannover 96 president in an interview with Sportbuzzer.

"The market is dead. Players are being offered, but it's hard to get deals over the line."

The focus of all clubs, according to Kind, is to bring in players on a free transfer.

"This is making it difficult. We'd like to sell as well, but club's aren't exactly queuing up for our players."

Holstein Kiel are said to be interested in Arp, who has made just one appearance for Bayern's senior side following his €3 million move from Hamburger SV in 2019.

Last season, the 21-year-old striker scored five goals in 30 games for Bayern's reserves.
