Kai Havertz: England game will be 'special'

Playing against England will be 'special' for Chelsea and Germany star Kai Havertz.
Germany star Kai Havertz has looked ahead to tomorrow's Euro 2020 last-16 clash with England at Wembley Stadium in London.

Havertz plays for London club Chelsea and lives in the English capital, which makes the game extra special for him.

"It will be a special game for me of course. I have already played at Wembley once or twice. It's a big game for everyone and we'll do all we can to make sure we leave as winners," said Havertz at a press conference.

In total, six players from the German squad play in England, with Bernd Leno, Antonio Rüdiger, Robin Koch, Ilkay Gündogan and Timo Werner also contracted to Premier League clubs.

"The only advantage that us players who play in England have is that we probably know a little better how their football is played," said Havertz.

"We've still got a number of experienced players, though, who have already played against England."
