FC Köln confirm new contract for Salih Özcan
FC Köln have extended Salih Özcan's contract by two years.
Salih Özcan has committed himself to FC Köln by penning a new two-year contract with the Bundesliga side.
'The Billy Goats' have confirmed that the midfielder's expiring contract has been extended until 2023.
"I am very happy that I continue to be a part of the 'FC' family," said Salih Özcan and added:
"Regardless of the fact that this is my home, the talks with [FC Köln head coach] Steffen Baumgart and all FC officials in particular have convinced me that my path here is not over yet.
"In the coming season, I want to confirm that I'm an important part of the team and take the next step in my development."
After coming through the youth ranks at Köln, the central midfielder has gone on to make 94 appearances for the senior side with two goals and six assists to his name.
