Frankfurt are said to have beaten Glasgow giants Celtic and Rangers to Santos Borre's signature, and he looks set to be the replacement for the 28-goal striker Andre Silva who looks set for a transfer to RB Leipzig.

Football Insider has stated that Santos Borre has already accepted the 4-year contract offer from Eintracht Frankfurt, and the deal could be announced as early as this week should the final details be completed in time.

Santos Borre will have some big boots to fill, trying to replace the 2nd top scorer in the Bundesliga in Andre Silva. But Santos Borre has been in good form for River Plate, bagging 22 goals in 42 matches during the 2019/20 season.
