Rangnick rages: 'I still can't grasp the behaviour of the players'

RB Leipzig boss Ralf Rangnick took a serious swipe at his squad at today's press conference.
Directly after the 2-3 defeat to Red Bull Salzburg in the Europa League last night, RB Leipzig head coach and sporting director Ralf Rangnick criticized his players, saying 'Die Roten Bullen' only had themselves to blame for the loss.

Today, Rangnick elaborated further at the press conference leading up to the Bundesliga clash with Eintracht Frankfurt on Sunday. The RB Leipzig coach was cleary still furious about last night and took a serious swipe at his team.

"Unfortunately, I only found out today that some players were not ready for this game - things that explain why some were substituted at halftime. If I had known these things before yesterday, there wouldn't have been three substitutions at halftime, but already at least two changes before the game," Rangnick said according to Sky and added:

"I still can't grasp the behaviour of the players by today. We fly across Europe for three months to qualify for the group stages, and then some players feel it's just an inconvenient duty."

Rangnick also underlined that he "expects a clear reaction" on Sunday and that he will only bring players to the Frankfurt game with whom he believes he can win the game.
