Lucas Hernandez will miss at least Bayern München's first two competitive games of the season, according to Kicker.
The French international, who underwent knee surgery at the beginning of this month, will not be fit in time for Bayern's DFB-Pokal first round tie against Bremer SV on 7 August and their Bundesliga opener against Borussia Mönchengladbach on 13 August, per the German Football magazine.
The 25-year-old defender made 37 appearances for the German champions last season, racking up a goal and three assists.
