Martin Hinteregger has made it clear once and for all that he is staying at Eintracht Frankfurt beyond the summer despite speculation linking him with a move to Italy.

"It has been said that I'm heading to Italy. But I'm staying in Frankfurt, of course," Hinteregger said, according to Hessenschau.

"Salzburg was nice, it was okay to be in Augsburg and Gladbach, but in Frankfurt I've found my second home. I really feel comfortable and like being there."

Hinteregger, 28, still has three years left on his contract with Frankfurt.
