A few days ago, English media reported that Chelsea are preparing a huge bid for Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland.
According to Bild, Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has now given the green light for the club to splurge up to €175 million on Haaland on the condition that 'The Blues' sell a few players first.
Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc, however, recently reiterated that Haaland is fully expected to stay beyond the summer.
"Nothing has changed. Erling is part of our plans for the new season," he told Bild.
Dortmund activated Haaland's €20 million release clause to sign him from RB Salzburg a year and a half ago.
Since then, the 20-year-old has gone on to score 57 goals in 59 games for the Bundesliga side.
