HSV thrashed 0-5 at home by Regensburg

Ouch! An afternoon to forget for Hamburger SV who suffered a 0-5 defeat at home to SSV Jahn Regensburg in the 2. Bundesliga.
After four wins in the 2. Bundesliga in a row, Hamburger SV's victory streak came to and end today as 'Die Rothosen' suffered a painful 0-5 defeat to SSV Jahn Regensburg at the Volksparkstadion.

On an afternoon to forget for the home side, Regensburg's Sargis Adamyan only needed 35 minutes to score a hattrick and send the guests ahead by three goals.

HSV got the chance to respond from the penalty spot shortly before the break, but Aaron Hunt missed the opportunity.

Instead, Regensburg added to the win in the second half and ended up winning 5-0 thanks to goals from Marcel Correia and Jann George.

Despite the thrashing, HSV are still second in the 2. Bundesliga table while Regensburg climb to the 13th place after taking their second win of the season.
