Maximilian Eggestein has admitted he doesn't know if he will still be a Werder Bremen player when the transfer window closes at the end of August.
'The Green-Whites' have said goodbye to Milot Rashica, Patrick Erras, Niklas Moidsander and Theodor Gebre Selassie following their relegation from the Bundesliga, and Eggestein is among the players that could still be on the move.
"There are no guarantees at the moment," admitted the 24-year-old midfielder at a press conference.
"It's difficult for all sides. No one really knows what team we will go into the season with. For the club it is difficult to plan, for us players too," Eggestein continued.
Eggestein has two years left on his contract with Werder.
