AC Milan want to take Borussia Dortmund midfielder Julian Brandt on loan, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Italian newspaper claims that the Serie A side are willing to put €5 million on the table to take the 25-year-old on loan with an option to buy of €22 million.

Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc told Kicker earlier this month that Brandt will get the chance to prove himself under new BVB coach Marco Rose.

Brandt, who has also been linked with Lazio, scored three goals and made two assists in 31 games last season.
